Organic Kirishima Sencha "Gold"

Organic Kirishima Sencha "Gold" - Grown organically in the mountainous Kirishima area of Kagoshima. While still classified as asamushi-cha (light steamed green tea), we consider this sencha to fall about halfway between light and medium steaming. This sencha has an intense green-yellow color to it, is clear, and carries a a nice grassy aroma. Very nicely balanced astringency, aroma and taste, this is probably one of the best organic sencha green teas we've ever come across.  We realize it is a bit pricey, but after trying a sample the quality of this tea got our attention and we decided to carry it for those organic green tea enthusiasts who demand the very best. Very delicious, we are confident you will enjoy this product.  As with all of our loose leaf green teas, packaged in nitrogen flushed packaging.
