This Kyusu is so worth the cost! The black and turquoise glazing over the red coloured clay is very stunning. Brewing is great - the belt filter makes even Fukamushi pour through without any noticeable "resistance".

The removable filter is also a nice feature. I had wondered if the plastic would affect the taste of the tea, especially when I use boiling water for the later brews. Let me be clear: There Was No Change In Flavour Whatsoever.

The craftsmanship is outstanding too. Every detail was looked after. From the small indentation around the centre of the lid (for the thumb to rest in, I assume) to the general shape of the teapot, it is absolutely great.

I would recommend this Kyusu to anyone - from beginners to seasoned tea nuts :)
