Tokoname "Swing" Teapot 16557

I've been using this kyusu for almost a week now (about 15 sessions) and have been extremely happy with my purchase. Appearance: It's a beautiful kyusu. It's decoration is very well executed and quite lovely. To my eye, all the components of this teapot (handle, lid, spout, etc) are nicely proportioned. The little loop on top is also a unique feature, which I love. The small size of the kyusu also makes it look very cute as well :) Ease of Brewing/Use: The 360 stainless steel filter works very well. With the exception of extremely fine tea particles, no leaf gets through. It pours extremely fast, even when brewing Fukamushi (which I brew a lot). It holds 270ml. This translates into a max of two 'Japanese sized' cups. So if you are a solo drinker, or only typically have tea with one other person, it will work well. The pour is very smooth, and doesn't dribble down the outside of the spout. Quality/Craftsmanship: This kyusu was made to a very high standard.
