Daily Sencha - While this green tea would be a very good tea for beginners, even seasoned green tea fans appreciate this sencha. One of the few second harvest green teas we sell, we carry it because it is an above average quality sencha and offers a very good quality-to-price ratio. This green tea is far and away better than what you will find at most grocery or health food stores and is freshly packaged in Japan within a very short time of when you purchase it. This item is a blend of green tea leaf from Japan's Southern Kyushu tea growing region. Be sure not to brew with too much heat or for too long or it can be overly bold.

Fresh from Japan, it comes in 100gm (3.52 oz) packaging.

An excellent green tea from Japan. Great value for money. Highly recommended.
And as usual... packaging and shipping from O-Cha.com was just perfect.

Advantages: Packaging is excellent and preserves freshness until opened.
Presentation is awesome and looks like a much expensive tea.
Nice flavors and awesome color when brewed as instructed.

Disadvantages: None at all.

I am not educated on tea and what it should/shouldn't be so I don't have a lot to say. I do know that local tea stores charge twice as much for this tea.

Advantages: I like that it is packaged and sealed for freshness.
Fast shipping from Japan.

Disadvantages: None really, it's green tea. It is what it is.

This is my first tea from O-Cha. It is an excellent sencha, bursting with seaweed/grassy flavours.

I discovered the site from TeaDB on Youtube.

Advantages: Bursting with seaweed/grassy flavours. The aroma is sweet, has good body, with a lengthy finish.

Disadvantages: I don't want it to run out!

I was introduced to green tea by a Japanese friend who grew up in Shizuoka. There is no better way to start and go through the day than with cups of good hot green tea. Untill lately I was supplied by friends with wonderful green teas, but that has not been able to fulfill my demand. The teas in the local Asian stores were not that good, so I looked online and found O Cha.com. The Daily Sencha was a good buy. I liked it enough to subscribe to it; yet I would like to try a few others just to see what else is available.

I will surely be a return customoer.

Advantages: It is convenient to purchase online and pick up at the post office.

Disadvantages: I would like to buy it in larger packages at a lower price.

Dear O-Cha,
I am dropping a few line to let you know my thoughts about you. First, let me say, I'm pretty sure your site has it in for me. 75 percent of the time I forget my password but I'm sure the other 25 percent is not my fault. But I've been buying your tea for several years and don't plan on stopping. The first time I had green tea, my visiting Japanese college shared a gift his mother had sent to him. It was gyokuro and I'm afraid it's beauty was lost on me. I have since developed a true enjoyment of green tea but can only afford the daily sencha as a "go to" for everyday. I have tried several other tea companies here in the states to save money, but I always come back. You have no equal. I have noticed over the years that the flavor may depend on the weather and some years are better than others, but I have only one source I depend on and that's you. Your service is good (I always get helpful advice) but your great product keeps me coming back. I thought about giving you 4 stars due to my computer inadequacy but your tea deserved all 5 stars. thanks, pat volk in beautiful Kentucky.

Advantages: Great tea and help when I need it.

Disadvantages: Logging in is usually a pain.
