Hojicha, or Houjicha - Green tea that has been "baked", imparting a red color and a very unique taste. Since the baking process removes the caffeine, this tea is often served in Japan to patients in hospitals, and to children.
Excellent iced, you will often find this tea served in Japanese restraunts. 100gm.

This reminds me of a herbal tea in the fact that it's easy to brew and the only thing that a longer steep time does is intensify the flavor. Be careful how long you brew this one if you arn't looking for a powerful roasted flavor.

A classic houjicha with a not too strong roasted tasted.
