Author: chip creitz Certainly one of the best sencha I have ever had the pleasure and honor to enjoy. Excellent flavor profile...just what the ideal sencha should taste like. The aroma is awesome. I enjoy 5 infusions each time.

Author: T This is a great sencha. I was truly impressed. I can't wait to try the other teas from O-cha. Thanks again !

Author: Olivier Coclet Fresh and a very nice taste. As good as the Uji Sencha Miyabi.
Author: Ryan One of the very best senchas I've ever enjoyed. The flavor is outstanding, the aroma abounds and is wonderful and the color of the brew is as enchanting as it gets.
Author: Ian Groetsch Really like it! Easy brew and rich, grassy flavor that produces 4-5 good brews. Additionally, in later brews, the tea becomes pleasantly sweet. Highly recommended.
Author: Michael Deegan I really liked the Yutaka Midori as it is very close to the richness of the Miyabi. The color is nice and it brews without any bitterness. I find that the first 2 steeps are wonderful and then the flavor drops off too much for me beginning with the 3rd infusion. However, I like my tea full flavored and those that like a more subtle taste may prefer the Midori. Overall it is a very good tea worth exploring and you won't be disappointed.

Author: David Vo Excellent Shincha. It's a special treat every time I brew it. Someone described it as being slightly acidic which I hadn't noticed before but it's true. I also would describe it as being near the ocean and "tasting" it. I am not sure if that's just because I eat so much Japanese food that I can sense it even in their tea. Either way, it's great. I use 0.8 grams per 2 oz of water and use water from 160-170F for 1.5 minutes. I've found that it can sustain two infusions with a third not worth doing.
Author: Patrick Bertrand I really enjoyed this tea, the aroma was very strong and flavor was great. I was able to get 2 great infusions, but when I tried for a third it always tasted to weak for me. Although the third infusion does taste grassier and sweater.

Author: David Britton This is a great tasting sencha that in my experience has only been equaled or exceeded by other senchas sold on this site. Very fresh taste and smell, and easy to brew. I am convinced that shipping tea directly to the customer from Japan is not hype, but the only proper way to do this type of business.

Author: Ed The Yutaka Midori brews a brilliant green cup with a mellow flavor and aroma. Similar in appearance to a fukamushi, but with a more traditional sencha flavor. This is a good sencha for any green tea drinker.
Author: Luke Auge This sencha has a wonderful aroma.
Author: Tom Matheson A very good sencha. Good flavor and aroma. The second cup brews to a nice deep green color. I definitely recommend it.
Author: greenisgood Delicious sencha, more grassy and less sweet but definitly fukamushi-like. A unique and interesting aroma with powerful flavor that seems just as good on the second steep as the first. One of those teas that you want to tell the nearest person about, and then show them how green it is!
