Author: Anthony Yum-my!! The first time I've had "green" tea... I'm still staring at it -- it's really green! o_o It's so smooth to drink, and so unique! At first, you get the aroma and taste of the rice, and afterwards, there is this sweet, lingering... fresh green tea flavor. Wholy moly... You guys just made a new customer. ^^

Author: Kenneth Shelley As soon as I drank it, I knew that this was one of the "reserve teas" that the Sushi chef in NYC served to me once I became a regular customer and friend. I recommend this to be your first try if you are new to green tea. It is very smooth, very green, and has a nice aroma.

Author: Joe If you are new to green tea, then this is a good starter as the flavors are not too strong and the rice adds a nice grainy after taste. Definately different from the Daily Sencha if you are looking to try something new. Also, if you are new to green tea, this along side a regular sencha makes great for comparing flavors and finding what you prefer.

Author: David Britton An excellent, great-tasting green tea that is not sensitive to brewing temperature or time. That does not mean better results cannot be obtained by proper brewing, but that mistakes are quite tolerable and good results are easy to obtain. This is a good starter tea for those new to Japanese green tea. It's unique flavor and lower cost make it an easy sell to those new to green tea who aren't sure where to begin. The matcha gives this tea a pleasant dark emerald color which adds to its enjoyment.
