Not to be confused with the "Matcha" used for the tea ceremony, this is a good sencha that is ground into a talcum-like fine green powder. 1/4 teaspoon in hot water will give you an immediate supply of the healthy ingredients in green tea. Very easy and fast to make when in a hurry but not the same as regular tea. Its good enough and the only slight downside is you seem to need to keep it stirred as you drink or you end up with a settled amount at the bottom.

This is my favorite tea. I love the full body and flavor of powdered Sencha and this one is both delicious and delicate.

I am thrilled that I found your website through an internet search. I bought the gift set which came today. I am very impressed with everything about this set. It is beautiful and the tea is the best green tea I have ever tasted.
In the United States we have many tea houses, but none compare to the quality of this tea.
Our doctors are telling cancer patients to drink at least 3 cups of green tea a day. (and it is proven for healthy people to help prevent cancer)
Here they think the best is the boxed tea bags at the grocery. I am convinced that is not the way to go. I will buy my green tea from O-cha from now on.
