For a quick, convenient, yet stellar cup of Japanese green tea, it will be hard to beat "Ostuusan" teabags, by Tsuen tea - Japan's oldest tea shop. From Uji, this is Tsuen's proprietary blend of Karigane sencha (gyokuro stems and sencha). Each pyramid shaped silk-like teabag is sealed in it's own foil package ensuring freshness. My wife and I love the coinvence of these tea bags. It's great for when you are at work or do not have much time. Makes a very consistent cup of green tea every time. I can even get a good second cup out of every tea bag...

A nice alternative to leaf tea when I am traveling.
Easy to brew, you just have to be careful not to use too much water.
I also have the Uji green tea bags for some change.

Good taste over two steepings, beautiful dark green color. Packages say 1 min with boiling water which is good for those who like karigane with a bite. I used to love these teabags while at school when all I had was a cup, some hot water, and a few minutes...

I don't have a scale yet so I used a rounded tsp to 8 oz of water. Got 4 infusions from this and each was very very good. Would like to try some of the others to see how they compare to this one. Couldn't believe how quickly this shipped!!
