Author: Luke Auge Gyokuro is only for serious tea-drinkers. You have to appreciate a lot of flavor in a small amount. Also, it can be difficult to make--but that's half the fun I think. If you're willing to invest the time, money, and patience in this tea you will be well rewarded. That being said, I would onlt recommend buying Gyokuro from a merchant like this who cares about quality. Don't be fool by $10 gyokuro's out there--it's not Gyokuro or it's just old.

Author: Michael Deegan This particular Gyokuro is very high in quality however it is also very tempermental when it comes to brewing. Temperature is key othewise it will impart a bitter taste. The first infusion is light with a cloudy consistency however the flavor is rich and makes an excellent sipping tea. The 2nd and 3rd infusions are decent and I found work better if you brew it about 10 to 15 degrees hotter it will come out smooth with no bitterness. This in my opinion is a special occasion tea that is great when you need to close the door to your office and escape reality. Very easy to drink but requires the proper attention when brewing. A+

Author: Anthony Matheson A very good, high quality tea. I have had several types of green tea from local supermarkets here in Kansas...none of them even come close. Definately worth the price, and do pay attention to the brewing instructions.

Author: LoaJoy McBride Features are its refreshing aroma, taste and brewing to a “tea” is essential.
I found temperatures very important and as the directions state 10
degrees make a difference especially for 2nd and 3rd infusions. Excellent Gyokuro!

Author: Ricardo Ruiz Another quality gyokuro, not as good as the Uji Gyokuro Kame-Giru-Shi but a better price and still a wonderfull sweet taste...

Author: Giancarlo This Gyokuro is awesome when done right, I have not tried more expensive ones yet but this one is surely not a second choice. Very hard to brew. I had to brew it at most 50 C or even lower, else it would become really bitter.
