Author: David Britton I found this gyokuro to be a disappointment. The first infusion is great, but I am unable to get a decent second infusion even when using 1/2 tablespoon to 1.5 ounces of water. Almost all of the flavor seems to be in the first infusion, and at $65 for 100 grams, I expected better longetivity. I'll stick with the Uji Gyokuro Kame-Giru-Shi, which gives me three acceptable infusions.
I rated this fours stars based on the above comments. If I rated only the first infusion, I'd give it the full five stars.
