Whether you use this for the tea ceremony or as a source for antioxidants, know that this matcha, as with all of our products, is extremely fresh (we only order as we sell them) and is a quality throughout. i love this matcha it is one of the best i have had in a long time well worth the cost

Although nothing like Uji Matcha Manten (the Uber Matcha), this is a very nice Matcha as well. Having tried almost all of them, I find that I like the Koicha best. The thin Matcha has a chalky consistency and is on the bitter side. I will probably start alternating between this one and Uji Matcha Manten for my Matcha consumption.
