Matcha "Chiyo Mukashi" - One of our best matcha green teas. Above average in every way, this matcha is borderline between thick and thin matcha (koicha), and can be served either way. Whether you use this for the tea ceremony or as a source for antioxidants, know that this matcha, as with all of our products, is extremely fresh (we only order as we sell them) and is a quality throughout. Grown in Uji, as with all of our matcha green teas we keep this product under refrigeration until shipment.

Perhaps not as good as the more expensive Manten, I got excellent results with this matcha. I only prepared it as koicha (very easy to brew) and got very pleased with its taste.

I didn't like green tea, that is, until I tried the green tea from O-Cha.

My daughter had turned me on to matcha. She studies nutrition and had experienced the benefits and delights of matcha, so I decided to learn more about it. I accidentally found the green tea forum that was associated with O-Cha and began my studies. The more I learned, the more convinced I became that I had to try THIS company's green tea and matcha.

It's come to the point where I refuse to go even to the local oriental market to buy my green tea. That's how good O-Cha's products are in comparison. I now absolutely love green tea and have a cup of matcha every morning without fail - and I feel better than I have in a long time.

The teapot I bought as well as the matcha accessories have been great. The support from Kevin has been great. What else can I say?
