Uji Green Tea
Uji Green Tea - Uji was an important stop along the road between Nara and Kyoto, and was the setting for the world's oldest novel, The Tale of Genji (源氏物語 Genji Monogatari). In order to get to either Kyoto or Nara, this bridge in Uji was crossed.
To the left you can see a copy of an original print of the famous bridge that crosses the Uji river, and next to it is the Tsuen tea shop. After 850 plus years of being in business, the Tsuen tea shop continues to operate at the same location and remains the oldest tea shop in Japan. To this day Uji remains an extremely important center for all things green tea in Japan and is known for it's high quality products. We just added several new features to make your green tea shopping experience a little easier. 1) "Recently Added" A list showing our most recently added, newest products. Located on the left menu area, and also under the "Special" link section near the bottom of the shopping area. 2) "Quick Re-Order" For those who have purchased from us before. After signing in, a list of what you have purchased in the past will come up allowing you to re-order the same item(s) much more quickly without having to search for them. I have been drinking Matcha for the last 2-3 years and by far this is the best Matcha at this price.
I have tried several other brands, from other sources and nothing compares to the freshness of O-Cha's Kiri-No-Mori.
I have not tried to other O-Cha.com matcha however.
