Organic Matcha Iri Genmaicha - From Miyazaki in Southern Japan, a first rate green tea. A combination of loose leaf green tea puffed rice, and matcha. Very delicious and you can serve it either hot or iced. Certified organic. As with all of our loose leaf green teas, packaged in nitrogen filled packaging.

This tea is very easy to brew. It is has a very pronounced toasty flavor, much like popcorn, and the flavor stays strong over multiple infusions.

I really like this tea. I tend to let it cool down for a little while before I start drinking, since the flavors and softness are more pronounced. The toasted rice isn't upfront, but it does linger nicely. I'm finding myself liking it more and more.

Advantages: Great price and great quality.

My first time having this tea. Loved the aroma, the puffed rice adds almost a roasted flavour to the tea. Very easy to brew.
