jas markOrganic Kagoshima Asamushi Sencha  - Grown organically in Kagoshima, this organic asamushi-cha (light steamed green tea) sencha has a rather intense green-yellow color to it, is clear, and carries a a nice grassy aroma. Not subtle, both the aroma and taste are a bit more intense than your typical light steamed green tea. We seldom come across a light steamed green tea packing this much flavor, let alone one that is organic. Very delicious, we are confident you will enjoy this product.  As with all of our loose leaf green teas, packaged in nitrogen flushed packaging.

Available in 100gm packages.

Review comment
Just had this tea, it was great. I only took off points because the color of the brew is a darker yellow than I typically expect from an Asamushi, but besides that no real complaint.

Very pronounced flavor, but never bitter. Its one of those new breeds of Organic Sencha which can compete with non organic sencha.
