Sakura Sencha

I've just enjoyed 4 infusions of it, and it is really good! (If I hadn't bought it, I don't think I would ever have guessed it was a $7 sencha!)

Very nice, smooth, and a great aroma. The scent really reminds me of spring. (If, like me, you had wondered what the Sakura aspect is like, if you can imagine flower petals, it's like that.)

In case you've skimmed over it, I'd like to point out that this is a 50g package. (Perfect for those who are experimenting with new teas)

I will definitely be ordering this again!

Advantages: Excellent Value for a Really Different Tea

When I first saw this tea I thought it was a cherry flavored tea. But then I discovered there was cherry leaves in it. I admit I was a bit hesitant, not really knowing what cherry leaves would be like in the tea. But after seeing a nice review of it I decided to give it a try. After all it's nicely priced. Now that 've tried it I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. It is a lot nicer than what I had expected. Certainly worth giving a try at $7. As the description says there's sencha stems in the blend. So I'm guessing the caffeine level isn't too high. I wasn't sure what aspect the cherry leaves would give the tea. But it does give it a slight cherry taste. But not too strong. It's a nice change from the rest of the O-Cha lineup. It might not be a tea you want all the time. But at 50g size, it's a more convenient size. I'll certainly be getting this tea again.

Advantages: Nice value and rather interesting

Wonderful tea. It's fresh, has a complex aroma with cherry and flowers taste, good for a beginner. You have to be a little generous in quantity to brew a good tea. Definitively I recommend this tea.

Beside the Chiran Sencha the Sakura Sencha was the first tea I ordered from o-cha. The Sakura Sencha is quite nice for a beginner like me :)...I think it's not too hard to brew and with little effort I got a nice result!

The taste is quite smooth, a bit grassy and somehow sweet. It's a nice alternation to my Chiran Sencha and definitely worth 6€.

Very interesting taste and wonderful aroma which is hard for me to explain. I have noticed flavors of flowers and a little bit of mint, but it is just a part of this amazing scent. A wonderful tea!
