I was very pleased to see that O-cha is currently offering this tea!! Having read some information about it several months ago online, I was curious to try it.
I found for first impressions that the tea did have a very unique aroma. I found it very pleasing and it reminded me of the sweet-fermented smell of freshly-made yogurt, it actually made my mouth water, I did not find it off-putting at all.
The taste is just as the description conveys, a very nutty and buttery full taste, one that I find very appealing Delicious in fact!
As for the health benefits, I experienced two immediate benefits, a deeper more restful sleep, and a decrease in chronic pain.
It is a great tea to start the day with, giving a sense of wellness and relaxed-alertness. Very enjoyable!
I plan on buying more, and I do hope that O-cha will make this a regularly available tea, Thank you O-cha for offering this delicious tea!

Dez 1, 2021, 09:01
Is the aroma strong and different enough that I should avoid infusing it in the unglazed kyusu I ordinarily use for sencha?
Dez 1, 2021, 11:26I would say no, the aroma is not that strong or empowering that you have to use separate brewing vessels. The aroma is noticeably different, however, but it won't linger in your tea ware afterwards.
