- Aaron TaylorJul 5, 2025, 21:40This tea is very delicious and not what I was expecting. I have had this cultivar(Asanoka) before with other companies in the past, and I thought of it as a 5 out of 10. Essentially, this variety to me is like a Chinese variety grown and processed the Japanese way. I like this version so far from O-cha the best. It's back end flavor is not over powering in a bad way like I have had with this cultivar in the past. It has a unique flavor that makes it worth putting into the rotation for variety. What an excellent job done by both the grower and the processors. This one was steamed perfectly, and produces a very flavorful cup.
