CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so Happy to have found O-Cha online, I use to live in Japan for five years back in the 90's, and how I missed that local green tea. Since then I have buying Gyokuro from Teavana, and let me tell you, once I got my Shirakawa Uji tea, talk about night and day difference. I am not sure where Teavana gets there green tea, but from now on I would rather and will get my tea straight from the source. The taste is just phenomenal. O-Cha has a customer for life. Oh and one thing, the shipping had me at a surprise, it was a super fast delivery from Japan, very Happy.

Mandatory tracking for matcha Manten and Taiko orders
Mar 2, 2017
Unfortunately we've had a few customers who chose 1st class postage (no tracking) and who then did a chargeback claiming they never received their item. These are expensive, rare products and we now have no option but to require mandatory tracking when purchasing these items. An extra charge of ¥410 will be charged, per item, when you place an order for this product. If you choose EMS or Registered shipping which both have tracking, we will refund this fee. If you choose 1st class shipping only, this fee will stay in place and your order will be upgraded to Registered mail. The also means you will have to sign for the parcel in order to receive it and could involve a trip to the post office to pick it up. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
