Excellent service and great teas
I fell in love with japanese green tea after a trip to Japan two years ago, but it is almost impossible to find good and fresh green tea where I live. Luckly I found out about O-Cha so now I can enjoy great quality tea at a very fair price. The service is very fast and the shipping rates to my country are affordable. I have already ordered three times and will keep on doing so.

O-Cha.com now GDPR compliant
May 3, 2018
As a worldwide seller of Japanese green tea and matcha related products, as you might imagine we do have quite a few European customers. With that in mind, we are required to comply with the new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) regulations that go into effect this month.
We are happy to report that O-Cha.com is now fully compliant with said new regulations.
A few points to keep in mind...
In order to checkout, create, or change your personal information, you will now have to click a button marked, "I consent to the collection and processing of "my personal data". That sounds scary, doesn't it? In Europe they consider your IP address, "personal data". It won't just be our site, you will start seeing this just about everywhere if you haven't seen it already. If you have been getting a lot of new policy updates from your social media accounts, it's all related to that.
You can now delete all of your data in your account if you want to. Yes, you can do that but if you do we won't be able to give you too much information about your past orders, etc, so do so with utmost care.
Truth be told, we weren't too happy to be forced to comply with this since we don't live in Europe and by nature don't like being told how to run our business by outside forces in other countries but after having viewed and implemented it, it's probably a good thing - at least for now.
