Grown organically in Chiran, Kagoshima Prefecture. The 2015 version of  organic Asanoka fukamushi sencha is deep steamed (fukamushi). This sencha has an nice green thick color to it and carries a rather prominant, nice grassy aroma and taste. Very nicely balanced color, astringency, aroma and taste, this has been priced competitively and is a very good value considering it's high quality. Very delicious, we are confident you will enjoy this product. As with all of our loose leaf green teas, packaged in nitrogen flushed packaging.

Price shown includes 100 grams of tea per package.

Very nice quality tea. Tastes very fresh and the aroma is grassy. I have enjoyed this tea and plan to order again.

This is a very nice quality tea. It has a very pronounced green colour and a lovely aroma. It's easy enough to brew, but the second steep is a little tricky to get it exactly right. I usually try not to increase the temperature too much in order to get the best taste possible.

Smells like forest in spring. Taste fresh and grassy, leaves fragile.

I got the 2014 first harvest batch. Very enjoyable tea. It is missing some subtle taste that defines those top premium tea, but it has all the rest. Good quality for a good price. One of those teas that are good for all occasions. I will definitely buy it again.
