I have been drinking Chiran tea for over a decade, and O-Cha's Organic Chiran for several years, it has become my daily Sencha staple. Succulent and flavorful, there is something about Kago Chiran that sets it apart. I like that O-Cha's is organic, attractively priced, quickly shipped, and seems to taste fresh at all times of year. A must for any Sencha drinker.

Nice sencha with deep green colour. It tastes similar to chamomille tea. I used lower temperatures around 67 - 75 deg. C, because higher temperatures gave just a little too much bitterness. Great thing about this tea is, that it's organic. But as the price suggests it doesn't reach Yutaka or Sae Midori.

This one is my favorite. I have ordered this tea twice already. I get two really delicious steeps. Its dark green and smells wonderful.

This is a straightforward fukamushi sencha. Pleasant and easy to brew!

A pleasant, non-offensive tasting deeper-steamed style of green tea with some really special variants for those wanting to branch out from the usual Yabukita. I was hoping for some more mental/theanine kick out of a couple cups; felt a bit neutral. Still this is one of the more unique teas on O-cha.

A great Sencha and a solid tea. Taste changes dramatically every infusion; good for 2 infusions and will start waning after the 3rd.

I really love this green tea. I'm currently a pre-med student, and am often loaded down with high amounts of work and stress. This tea helps me stay focused during all night study sessions, without the anxiety that I experience from coffee. I describe it as a calm, yet focused state of mind. As far as the taste (im no tea expert), it's slightly bitter, slightly salty, and really delicious.
