Ratings and Reviews of Kanayamidori Organic Sencha
Brian ThompsonApr 17, 2018, 05:55I was surprised by this tea. It has what I enjoy about lighter senchas, flavors that linger on the tongue and nose, and it can be brewed with a lot of leaf. It also has a fairly strong green taste that may not appeal to some, but I enjoy quite a lot. Remains flavorful through repeat infusions, which I have been finding less common among higher-grade, lighter organic senchas.

John UsreyApr 19, 2016, 03:20This is probably one of my favorite varieties of sencha throughout the entire website. Plus, it is organic. I love the fact that this tea is flavorful, yet mild. For me, it's the perfect balance of all green tea qualities. Currently, I'm burnt out on the astringent and harsh qualities of a Yutaka Midori. If you want mild, yet still flavorful, this is the variety to go with.
Lucas HollandFeb 18, 2016, 00:44This is a decent quality Asamushi sencha that is fairly priced. I find the first and second infusions to be quite different in terms of their flavour profile whereas other Senchas seem to start evolving more going from the second to the third steeping. Given its price point, I'd recommend giving it a shot as it does taste nice.
