Author: Ryan This is an excellent sencha. A wonderful grassy and vibrant taste. Beautiful color liquor. Solid aroma.
Author: Randy Engelbrecht This is by far the best Sencha I have ever tried, nice grassy taste great!
I will order it again!

Author: JohnO O-Cha's Miyabi is a dry, genteel sencha with no hint of harshness. It's a fussy steeper -- watch your time and temp -- but a properly brewed cup will reward you with one of the best balanced senchas available. I prefer the more approachable Asa Giri as an "every day" tea, but Miyabi slots nicely into the "high-end" pantheon as a crisp, delicate refresher.
Author: Michael Deegan The Sencha Miyabi has an excellent fresh scent and flavor without any bitterness. The color is bright green and the smooth grassy flavor is prominent. Best Sencha I've tried so far...just ordered 2 more bags.
Author: Andy Rahardja Just got my package of Miyabi today. I have to say it is the best green tea I've ever tasted. It is very fragrant tea and makes for an excellent tea experience.
Author: T I just got it today. This is exactly what I was looking for. This is the best sencha I've ever had, and I've tried many.
Author: Luke Auge Kevin recommended this one to me and like everyone else I have to say it was an excellent tea. With the right brewing technique, you can get an excellent color and flavor.
Author: Olivier Coclet A very good tea from the first brew to the last one. Fresh and grassy as described.
Author: chip creitz A sencha of the highest quality, taste and aroma. Pleasant grassy taste with a pleasant level of astringency. One of the best sencha I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying!!!
Author: Jonathan Rodwin Definately worth the price. If you are looking for an authentic, high quality sencha experience, then look no further. A fine tea for special occasions, but also enjoyable to drink day after day.
Author: Ian Groetsch A good but difficult Sencha. Difficult in that it is very easy to mess up while brewing and it seems that you ahve to brew it at a perfect temperature for a perfect amount of time to get it right. If successful, this produces a very refined and flavorful cup. If you mess up, the tea has strong oatmeal undertones.

Author: LoaJoy McBride Hello Kevin
I still have a small amount of the wonderful: “ Uji Matcha Chiyo Mukashi” and wanted to let
you know it is far beyond expectation. After I get the whisk going correctly a beautiful “green” color appears. I’m enticed by intense aromas and this is why I also enjoy the “ Uji Sencha Miyabi” which, in my opinion, is “the most exceptional of all” can’t say enough about all your green teas!
Also a word about the “Tokoname Teapot Black”. It’s perfect; and by the way I make several fusions from one batch using Miyabi.
Thank you Kevin, I’ve been drinking THE “very best” Sencha for years. I’ll be ordering again
Best wishes,
lj

Author: Martijn van den Bunt Wonderful sencha with a very grassy taste and strong smell. As soon as I had opened the bags and took a sniff, I knew I had struck gold.
I can make at least 4 excellent infusions per batch.
Also - very fast delivery!
This was my first sencha ordered at o-cha's, but certainly not the last.

Author: Anthony Matheson Easily one of the best green teas I've ever had. Very good quality, with a fairly bold flavor and aroma. Good luck finding teas of this quality elsewhere.
Author: lafost I just received this tea about a week ago and have really enjoyed it! I would describe it exactly like the website does, having a grassy smell and taste but not overwhelmingly grassy. I am able to get three infusions out of this tea with all three unique tasting and very good. Definately worth the money!
Author: Jeffrey Krolick I am hooked on this one. It has a delightful aroma and full bodied taste with what I can only describe as a mouthwatering afterglow. Brews best (for my taste) a little cooler - around 150F. Very flavorful 2nd and 3d pours!
Author: Ed Miyabi has a deep, rich flavor that is hard to find. This is the finest sencha I have had to date. Every green tea lover should try this one at least once.
Author: Brett Gilbert I\'ve tried most of the Senchas offered by O-cha and this one is my favorite. Just be sure you are careful about brewing it at the correct temperature to fully appreciate this fine tea.
Author: Matt B Most beautiful green liquor I have seen of all Sencha teas and the taste is just as good.
Author: Chris Reed This Sencha is now on the top of my list. I have tried a few different ones, and this one is one of my favorites. Very Vibrant Grassy Taste! Will order more in the future for sure.
Author: M.D. Mills Miyabi is spectacular, amazing "nose" for a sencha and, personally, i find the 3rd infusion the sweetest. This makes Miyabi a wonderful dinner tea, the sharp 1st infusion to get things going, then mellower infusions take you to the end, imho...
Author: CMBURN My initial reaction of Miyabi was that it was overly mild. After a few pots however, this tea has become one of my favorites. Smooth, balanced, and a perfect consistency if brewed properly. The 3rd infusion is too weak for my liking, and this tea is NOT grassy compared others on this site.
Author: David Britton I did not find the Miyabi to match the descriptions in other reviews. It is not very grassy or sweet in smell or taste, and it did not have the fresh-cut aroma that jumps out of the Yutaka Midori bag as soon as it is opened. I find Miyabi to be quite bland.
The Miyabi brews consistently, is not cloudy, and is a very deep green. It is superior to any sencha I have had from other sources, but to my taste it lags far behind the Midori I usually purchase.
Since the Miyabi is three dollars per 100 grams more expensive than the Yutaka Midori, I do not find it to be a such a great value. Maybe what I've found is due to it being January 2008 and this is a spring 2007 tea. However, my most recent order of Midori in November still tasted and smelled fresh, sweet, and grassy.
I rated the Miyabi four stars relative to my all-time favorite sencha, the Yutaka Midori.

Author: Shaheen Miyabi makes for an unfailingly pleasant green tea top-up with a stronghold over two infusions. The grassy aroma doesn't quite hit you straight away. But if you run out of your favourite, then this is the next best thing.
