Shizuoka Green Tea Daily Sencha

Daily Sencha - One of the first green teas ever sold by O-Cha.com starting from 1998, it remains as popular today as it did then.  One of the only second harvest green teas we sell, we carry it because this fresh from Japan green tea is still an above average quality sencha, far and away better than what you will find at most grocery or health food stores.

Harvested in June, the tea plants of this green tea consist of a 95% Yabukita and  5% Sayamakaori-Ooiwase indigenous mix. If you are new to green tea, this would be a good starter tea. Be sure not to brew with too much heat or for too long or it can be overly bold. Fresh from Japan, it comes in 100gm (3.52 oz) packaging.
