first infusion is heavenly, a good flavor of sencha with tones of gyokuro on the tongue, subsequence brews are a lot weaker, usually goes for 3 infusion for mine, i use slightly hot water 74< at 90-100 secs. find that anything below that came out quite bland. 1tsp to 150ml water.

This tea is a good, cheap way to get introduced to the gyokuro side of things. Fairly easy to brew but sometimes difficult to balance between too light and slightly overbrewed. Very good complex flavor and aroma.

A mild Japanese green tea with good flavor, reminiscent of gyokuro.
