Author: David Britton Buying low-grade matcha from the local Asian market made me wonder how a nations cultural ceremony could be dedicated to something so undistinguished. I knew there had to be better and the search led me to O-Cha.com and Uji Matcha Manten. Now I know! There is no comparison to any matcha I have tried before. I've only made this in the "thick" style and although I am new to good matcha and the proper preparation of it, I had very little trouble getting it to come out right, including getting it to froth. This is expensive matcha but to me it is well worth the money. I recommend that anyone who can do so give it a try. Fantastic color and aroma, before and after preparation. Warning: this can become very addictive; I've just ordered my third can of Uji Matcha Manten in about two months.

Author: Ken S. Like I always say, you pretty much get what you pay for. This matcha is smoooooth, green, sweet, and does not have a chalky aftertaste. I wish that I could afford to drink this matcha every day, but for now it is a must at least twice per year as a Birthday and Christmas gift to myself.
