From the first harvest in Uji. Kabusecha is grown in the shade for 14~20 days before harvest under 45% shade, giving it characteristics of both sencha and gyokuro. A sweeter, less grassy and more vegetal, less astringent taste than regular sencha, you can definitely taste vegetive hints of gyokuro. It is easy to brew, not overly astringent, medium steamed, has a lovely green color, and is reasonably priced making it an all-around versatile winner of a green tea. Although it has hints of gyokuro, be sure to brew it as you would for sencha, not gyokuro.

AusverkauftGrown in Kagoshima Prefecture. Somewhere between light and medium steamed. We knew we had to acquire this when we tasted it as it has a quite strong aroma and very pleasant umami taste. Very nicely balanced this has been priced competitively and is a very good value considering its high quality. Very delicious, we are confident you will enjoy this product. As with all of our loose-leaf green teas, packaged in nitrogen flushed packaging.

It's O-Cha.com's pleasure to be able to provide you with the Tsuen blend "Musashi", from Japan's oldest teashop, in a 140 gram package! A proprietary blend Yabukita breed karigane sencha,the stems from gyokuro leaves are added, giving this tea a rather strong astringency with somewhat of a "tart", sharp taste. Very similar to Tsuen's Otsuusan, Musashi is less sweet with a bit more astringency for those who like a stronger tasting green tea. Try it today!

AusverkauftFrom Kirishima, Kagoshima Japan, a first rate, first flush green tea. Organic sencha "Asatsuyu" is harvested from the first round of young 100% Asatsuyu clone spring leaves. Medium steamed green tea (chumushi), green color with a semi-cloudy clear consistency. We find this particular asatsuyu to be particularly aromatic and flavorful which is why we chose to include it in our lineup. If you are looking for a healthy, organic, light steamed daily sencha of good value this would be hard to beat. Certified organic JONA/JAS. Green Tea with Matcha Tea Bags
AusverkauftOur Green Tea with Matcha Tea Bags (Matcha-Iri-Tea Bags) are a concentrated sencha grown in Kagoshima Prefecture. A combination of loose-leaf green tea and powdered sencha (not tea dust), this tea bag comes in the form of a triangular, nylon mesh bag, and will not affect the taste as traditional paper tea bags are known to do. This is a strong green tea and is especially recommended for iced tea or for use with a larger sushi teacup. For iced tea, we recommend one tea bags per liter/quart. Simply add the tea bags in the water and refrigerate.
