The teapot you mentioned will brew all of our teas, including deep steamed or light steamed or gyokuro. It's not the "perfect" teapot for deep steamed because those teapots tend to be more tall than wide, but still the screen on it is very fine and fine enough to filter the very fine leaf particles of deep steamed green tea.
