A lovely green tea, when I opened the packet the aroma was intense, really nice. I found it took me a few goes to get the temperature and quantity of leaves correct however, when I did... it was well well worth the effort!

This tea tastes crisp, clean and refreshing.
It has a slight floral taste in the background.
    A satisfying thirst quenching affect.
The color of this tea is yellow without the powdered dust in the bottom of the cup.
Ujibashi San No Ma totally lacks the soupy vegetal taste like the powdered tea leaves from Chiran and Yukata Midori.
This tea is my favorite from O-cha.com a true gem.

This is the finest sencha I have ever had the pleasure of drinking. I will have to say that it is by far my favorite and is a treat I look forward to daily.

Subtle asamushi with a clean mellow taste. Has a sweet grassy fragrance and very little bitterness.

The shincha version (Kirameki) was my favorite shincha of 2008. The sencha version carries on the legacy. Wonderful and grassy aroma that lingers in the mouth. It is high priced, but worth every cent.

I had the last two years the shincha version of this light steamed (asamushi) sencha and I am now happy to be able to buy this sencha during the whole year.

Easy to brew, nice flavor and a very good value: its price is indeed quite high, but the quality is up there.
