Grown in Takachio, Miyazaki Prefecture Japan.  Organic Kamairi Tamaryokucha is not steamed, but pan fried, the pan firing gives this tea a sweeter, less astringent taste with a touch of roast flavor. The curled, comma leaf shape is also somewhat uniquie and when brewed it has a beautiful clear yellow-green color to it. Harvested from the first round of young spring leaves, it is grown and certified organic. Nitrogen flushed and vacuum packaged, as fresh of an organic green tea as you can get.

Grown in Ureshino City, Saga Prefecture Japan.The curled, comma leaf shape of Ureshino Tamaryokucha (Tamaryokucha is also known as "guricha") is also somewhat uniquie and when brewed it has a beautiful clear yellow-green color to it. We seldom come across green tea with an ultra rich umami taste on this level, the umami is so strong there is a noticeable lingering aftertaste. Harvested from the first round of young spring leaves.  

    Nitrogen flushed and vacuum packaged, as fresh of a green tea as you can get.
